Our History

A Tradition Rooted in Time

1920s

Founding Years

Joppa Masonic Lodge No. 4 was established in the early twentieth century by a group of local men who saw the need for a gathering place that served both fraternal and community purposes. The original lodge met in a modest structure, but the vision was always larger than the building.

1950s

Building the Lodge

Through decades of member contributions and community support, the lodge acquired and renovated the building that stands today on NE 349 Highway. The structure was designed to serve as both a meeting hall and a place of hospitality for traveling brothers and visitors.

Living Legacy

Today, Joppa Lodge No. 4 continues its mission of brotherhood, charity, and community service. Our lodging facilities welcome travelers, our halls host public events, and our doors remain open to all who seek a place of dignity and belonging in Old Town.
